Jeffry O'Brien has lived in the Phoenix Metro area since 1984. He quickly ditched his hippy hair and attire from Oregon once he realized that people here were on a different wavelength. While he stylized his look to fit in on the surface, he never really did get on the same mental wavelength. 

He started acting on stage and television at a young age and at the urging of friends, he tried stand up comedy at 18. He originally thought... "But I am... an actor. Not a clown." He got over that when his first night he had a great show and killed at Chili Charlie's in Mesa, Arizona. For the next few years, stand up was his life... on tour all over the country making em laugh from coast to coast… but he always wanted to do radio. He was also tired being on the road all the time waking up in strange hotel rooms wondering where the hell he was. He told his comedian friends that he might like to try radio; they listened carefully and thoughtfully... and then proceeded to mock him openly and quite relentlessly. 

Having no sense in his head, their taunts inspired Jeffry to give up comedy and do radio anyway. His first job was as a funny guy on a morning show here in Phoenix. But a month later, the whole show was fired... with one exception… Jeffry... who they teamed with Randy White (no... not THAT Randy White). Thus began the last 15 years of Jeffry's career in radio, doing morning shows and afternoon shows, Adult Contemporary, Top 40 and Rock Alternative. He even did a syndicated music show... and now does comedy and entertainment based talk radio.
